常见申请

谁是“国际申请人”??

这与你住在哪里无关. 这是关于你的公民身份或永久居留权. 如果你持有U.S. 公民身份, 永久居留权(绿卡), 或者你的庇护/难民身份被批准了, 你必须以国内学生的身份申请. 或者，如果你不持有U.S. 公民身份, 永久居留权, 或者你的庇护/难民身份悬而未决, 你必须以国际学生的身份申请. 

不确定你的合法公民身份? Check your status with your parents or legal counsel. Either deliberate or unintended misrepresentation of your 公民身份 status may be cause for withdrawal of your application.

If your 永久居留权 status is still “pending,” apply as an international student. Then, once your 永久居留权 is approved, you should notify us immediately. 需要一份这份文件的复印件.

早期的决定

如果《十大网络彩票平台大全》是你的第一选择, applying 早期的决定 indicates a commitment to attend if admitted. 当被提前录取时, you agree to withdraw applications to any other colleges, so it is expected you would not apply 早期的决定 to more than one institution.

提早行动 applications will receive an earlier response but can wait to hear from other colleges before making a final decision. Principia offers two rounds of early application consideration.

 Please give ample time to have all application materials submitted and received by March 3. 如果承认, you'll need to reply to our offer by May 1 and begin preparing your documents prior to scheduling a Visa appointment.

4. English Language Proficiency Requirement – Official TOEFL and /or IELTS English test 

• Principia College does not offer ESL support options for international students. 因此, all international students must demonstrate proficiency in English at an American university level for consideration.   

• The following test sources are accepted for admission consideration:
  • 雅思-最低成绩:6分.5  
  • 托福-最低成绩:80分 
    • 原则只接受 TOEFL iBT  test
    • 主要机构代码:1630
    • Principia不接受MyBest分数

Please note: Official score reports are required for all English Proficiency tests

在普林西雅学院, all aid available to international students is merit aid, awarded based on information provided in the application and through conversations with the admissions counselor. Principia does not use the CSS Profile or offer need-based aid for international students.

Our holistic approach ensures that each student is seen as their unlimited self, 不仅仅是考试成绩. Standardized test scores are not required for admission consideration, however they can be used to determine academic scholarships, often improving a student’s eligibility for a higher award level.  
Students wondering whether to submit a standardized test score or not, 应考虑以下几点:    

• If scores are an accurate representation of the student’s ability, feel free to submit them. 如果不是，就不要提交.    

• 如果学生得到了他们希望的分数, and especially if it qualifies the student for a higher level of academic scholarship, submitting the score may be helpful in the admission process.    

• SAT或ACT的高分可以抵消GPA的低. If a student does not submit a score, Principia has less information about academic performance. If a student has a low GPA but does well on the SAT or ACT, the test score can be an important indicator of the applicant’s potential to succeed in college-level classes.    

Applicants choosing to submit test scores should be aware that Principia requires a minimum score of 1010 on the SAT and a minimum composite score of 19 on the ACT. Principia will consider the applicant’s best superscored ACT composite scores and best superscored SAT math and evidence-based reading and writing (ERW) scores.
